Clinical Scientist Trainee Day 2024

This is an excellent opportunity for Clinical Scientist trainees to come together in person to hear from senior Clinical Scientists about the support and best practices that will assist you through your training journey. The day will provide an in-person platform to network and build your professional community with trainees across all the different training routes to HCPC registration – Scientist Training Programme, ACS Route 2, STP Equivalence and the Scottish Training programme.

The day will be varied and interactive covering:

• What being a Clinical Scientist means - Knowledge, Skills (competencies) and Behaviours, including practicalities of registration, Professional behaviour and expectations (specific to healthcare).
• Taking opportunities and finding novel ways of ticking off professional competencies
• Structured networking opportunities to help build connections.

• Life after training: Registration and beyond
